International Sales Manager (m/f/d) for Eastern Europe

inomed Medizintechnik GmbH, based in Emmendingen, is an internationally active company that develops devices and systems to protect nerves in order to treat patients with precision. inomed develops tools and methods in the fields of intraoperative neuromonitoring, functional neurosurgery, pain therapy and neurological diagnostics.

High-quality products and innovative technologies improve the success of treatment and create safety for doctors and patients. In order to optimise our applications to meet the requirements of a dynamic market and everyday medical practice, our inomed specialists work closely with users from hospitals, practices and research. 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced International Sales Manager to drive growth and expand our presence across Eastern Europe. This role offers the opportunity to lead sales efforts in key markets, including Bosnia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, and more, shaping our success in this diverse region.

What you can expect:

  • Establish and sustain lasting relationships with distributors, develop and execute local business strategy according with EMEA guidelines and deliver sustainable growth and significant share win based on a deep understanding of local market dynamics, future trends and competitive landscape in Bosnia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Israel, Macedonia, Malta, Rumania, Slovenia, Turkey, Republic of Serbia
  • Develop, implement and drive sales strategy for the assigned region and identify new distributors in non-covered regions and develop and maintain strong market presence of inomed
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with distributors and provide feedback and action plans to our Sales Director EMEA
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all distributors and key opinion leaders and develop strong relationships to understand what these customers value and to find ways to meet their needs to profitably win their business
  • Become a point of reference for product knowledge and provide training to the local distribution network and organize training and support to distributors to ensure they are well-equipped to sell the inomed products
  • Monitor and make recommendations concerning market needs, changes in competitive policies and strategies, channels of distribution, advertising and promotion, pricing and sales activity
  • Take ownership of assigned territory sales planning and forecasting processes and develop, manage and control budgetary process for assigned region

What you bring with you:

  • Degree in biomedical engineering, electronic engineering, or an equivalent scientific qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Indirect Sales Manager, Distributor Manager or in a similar role, preferably in MedTech segment
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and commercial strategies
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent English skills (spoken and written)
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Heavy travel required- 8-10 overnights per month to be expected
  • Preferred place of residence Turkey, Greece or Central Eastern Europe
